Valaurie Bridges Lee
CEO & President
Valaurie Bridges Lee is the CEO and President of VB Consulting. She founded the organization in 2002 as an independent consultant and fostered its expansion over the last 18 years. Valaurie also leads Building Bridges Holding Company, the parent organization for her other commercial ventures as well as her nonprofit.
Prior to establishing VB Consulting, Valaurie worked for several Fortune 500 Companies including Waste Management, IBM, and Oracle (PeopleSoft). Valaurie received her Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Georgia. She then went on to pursue a Masters in Management Technology at Southern Polytechnic University (Kennesaw State University). Valaurie has recently received her Doctorate of Business Administration at Georgia State University.
Valaurie is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. as well as the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council. She is also a devoted philanthropist who provides substantial support to various entities.

Marlene Biseda
Assistant Professor of Strategy | Pepperdine UniversityMarlene spent 25 years leading global operations and consulting services at IBM. She currently serves on the Faculty of Peppperdine University's Graziadio’s School of Business and Management where she teaches Strategy. Marlene earned her Doctorate in Executive Management from Claremont Graduate University in 2010.
Vincent Guthrie
Managing Partner | Integrated Services Solutions
An iconic figure in the GA environmental waste collection industry for two decades, Vincent is a strategist, a motivator and an entrepreneur.
Vince led Spartan Waste Systems, Apollo Waste Industries, and Superior Waste Service. His tenacity and expertise led to quick advances throughout his career. He is a skillful fund-raiser who has attracted several investors to help fund Integrated Service Solutions, a facilities management service.
Vince studied Economics at the University of Georgia.
Manuel “Buddy” Ramos
Industry Strategist | HighPoint TechnologyBuddy’s career includes stints at Ciber INC, Peoplesoft/ Oracle, IBM and Johnston Community College. His experience and expertise led to the development of million dollar sales strategies that helped establish his reputation in Higher Education. Buddy received his Doctorate of Education from the University of Kansas.
Brenda Bridges-Ward
Brenda is a trail blazer, educator and impassioned voice for positive change.
Brenda dedicated her career to improving education at every level. She has shaped school policy, student development, and curriculum management for students from all backgrounds.
Brenda earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Education at Georgia State University, and an ED.S Educational Administration conferral at Troy State University.
